Reason Foundation is a national research and educational organization that explores and promotes the twin values of rationality and freedom as the basic underpinnings of a good society. We are comprised of two divisions: Reason magazine, an independent national monthly magazine that covers politics, culture, and ideas from a free-market perspective; and Reason Public Policy Institute, which develops and promotes public policies that protect and foster individual liberty, personal responsibility, competition, and innovation. Through collaboration with decisionmakers and interested stakeholders, Reason Public Policy Institute is the leading source of theoretical and practical policy ideas that emphasize liberty.
